(1) Pre-conference Training - Using ArcGIS for modernized field to office workflows in vegetation monitoring (5-Sep-2022 9am -11am) at RCMRD

Description:
This workshop will be a practical session where attendees learn how to modernize their field to office operations using ArcGIS, by first accessing Sentinel2 imagery and applying renderers that will allow them to get context on the field area, then design a data collection tool on ArcGIS Field Maps, deploy it on their mobile device and navigate to the field to conduct an assessment. They will then see how this information can be linked and visualized on an interactive dashboard that can be used to communicate the outcome of the assessment.

The workshop will focus on assessing and analysing vegetation health, and will support thematic theme “Agriculture and Food distribution systems” as well as “Early warning and disaster preparedness”
